GEN: Alphasmart vs Dreamwriter

School (middle school 6-8) staff came back form the CUE (computer using
educators) conference,  convinced that either the Alphasmart or
Dreamwriter machines would be the answer to providing word processing
access to classrooms.  If you have had any experiences with these
machines or with this type of a solution (either good or bad) please sent
them on to me.  The tech team will meet next month to plan the budget and
will decide if this is the direction in which they should spend.
