GEN: combined school/public library

["Esquivel, Junior(HS)" <ESQUIVJ@HS.HIGHLANDPARK.K12.TX.US>]

We are seeking information about libraries that jointly serve a high school
and
a community in the same facility.  With the prospect of a bond issue in our
near
future, there is some thought that this would be a beneficial model for us.
 Our
high school has 1400 students (grades 9-12), and half of our community has
no
free access to a public library.  Please send any information.  We need pros
and cons of this type of library.
