Can anyone tell me if it's "legal" to download a CD onto several computers in a lab. I was under the impression that the Microsoft CDs (like Encarta, Cinemania, Dogs, etc.) were only supposed to be loaded onto one computer even though you can obviously only use the CD on one computer at a time. But is the same thing true of CDs from other companies, like JFK or Time Almanac for instance. Right now I have our CDs divided up among ten computers, so if a student wants to use a particular CD he has to be able to use that particular computer.
