Internet publishing sites suitable for high school students

Dear LM_Netters,

I thought I had saved some sites suitable for Advanced Placement English
students to publish some of their work - but seems it is hiding in a pile of
papers somewhere in my office.

The 12th grade AP English teacher is really excited about the Internet  and
I hope you all can direct me to some great sites.
