O.K. net people --I have some students doing research on the 60's(you know Woodstock, and Haight-Ashbury. Well one of my students found a review off of Infotrac for a CD-ROM called "Haight-Ashbury in the 60's". I never heard of it and proceeded to call some distributors to see if this CD-ROM was available --most of them never heard of it. Finally called the "home" division of Comptons (Producer) and they had bought out the company that produced the CD-ROM and was no longer producing it. It was only reviewed in Library Journal in December of '95 and already it is off the market. Is anyone familiar with this CD-ROM? As I said it is produced by Comptons. I am now curious if these CD-ROMS are in any schools or where they are. Sure would appreciate any info. -- Ron Klitzkie, District Library Media Specialist School District of Random Lake, WI randomrk@llwisc.wecb.org 414-994-9193 414-994-4820 (fax)
