Elem: Challenged book

Had a father in this morning complaining about the illustrations in the book
_Monster Mama_ by Liz Rosenberg.

He said he didn't like the book teaching about mama's who tied their kids up
to a tree. He said his son can't read yet, and when he looked at the
illustrations he thought the mama had tied the boy to the tree. I'm getting
copies of the reviews, but does anyone want to make a comment about the
book? Do your teachers use it for their classes?
