Greetings from Benfield Elementary School in Severna Park Maryland. We
have 375 students from K-5. Since we are located so close to Annapolis
and the Chesapeake Bay, we love sailing and blue crabs.Have a wonderful year!
Subject: KeyPals Club
sent me a copy of that poem from the Nov. 1995
"Teen" magazine. What a great help this has been.

For those of you looking for ways to find Key Pals (e-mail pen pals), here
is a new web site that may help you. It is a free service from Mighty
Media, creator of Teacher Talk and the Youth in Action Network.

KeyPals Club is an easy-to-use web site designed to
enable young people and their teachers to
locate and correspond with other students and
teachers around the world. KeyPals Club makes
it easy to start a project with another class,
or create a new friendship with someone across
the nation or across the globe.

You can visit the KeyPals Club to
browse or to post a request for a KeyPal.

You can find Mighty Media's KeyPals Club at:

http://www.mightymedia.com/keypals

They are very interested in getting comments from media specialists and
teachers. The service is brand new, but there are already quite a few
participants. I hope this is helpful.
