Greetings from the "Lama Lama Queen"

That's what some of the staff calls me here.   I'm also known as Yo, Library
Lady or a variation thereof - as in Liberry Lady, Liberian Lady etc. but
that's another thread.  My predecessor loved to laminate and it's taken me
about six years to convince my staff that I don't put plastic on everything!
In addition to teachers, paraprofessionals and administrators, I also help
out  the Detention Care Workers who are in charge of our students here at
the detention center.  I've been asked to preserve everything from crumbling
newspaper articles to autumn leaves to family photos.  And there are the
variations on the word "laminate" as in "lambindate," "eliminate," and my
personal favorite, "plasticize."
Just thought I'd add my :-) to this discussion.
