Dear Colleagues, I am graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's Library School in May of '97 with my MLIS. I loved the post about this degree being Master of Laminating Science! I plan to relocate to the Portland,OR/ Vancouver, WA area and hope to teach next Fall in one of the local school systems.I AM LOOKING FOR CONTACTS IN ANY OF THE LOCAL SYSTEMS THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO ANSWER THE 1001 QUESTIONS ABOUT WHICH SYSTEMS TO AVOID,ETC. WASHINGTON VERSUS OREGON CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS, AND GENERALLY ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU MIGHT THINK I SHOULD KNOW, during the couurse of this year. If there is ANYONE out there that will take on this act of Christian kindness, I promise you that I will prepare you the best thank-you dinner youv'e ever eaten, once I have unpacked the kitchen.
