Call the Search Institute, (800) 888-7828 and get their catalog.  When the
Center for Early Adolescence (at Univ. of North CArolina, Chapel Hill)
closed in 1995, its entire collection of information resources,
and its publications were moved to Search Inst.  The Center produced the
best (maybe only) parent education curriculum and materials, an assessment
instrument for middle grades schools, materials on how to establish and
run successful out-of-school programs for 10- to 14-year-olds, and a
series of publications and two curricula on adolescent literacy.
