GEN: Reading programs

We a K-8 school located on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.
Our 8th grade language arts/social studies teacher is planning on adding a
reading program to her curriculum.  She is thinking about Accelerated
Reader or Reading Horizons (I have never heard of this one).  I have
searched the archives and located on the positives/negatives on AR. My
questions are-I understand there is a demo of AR-could someone please me a
address or phone number so that we receive this information?  Also, has
anyone heard of Reading Horizons?  If so, what is your opinion of the
program?  Please e-mail directly and I will post a HIT if anyone is
