Accelerated Reader help

We are a small rural elem. school(K-6th grade) just beginning to use
AR. We would like to hear from other small schools (450 students or
so) about how you have implemented AR in your schools.  Primarily
we need advice on how and when to award prizes, motivational
displays used with AR, any pitfalls we should be aware of, etc.  If
you are a larger school and feel you have an idea we could use feel
free to let us know. We are excited but also feel a little over
whelmed and in the dark.
