GEN: Reading skills for electronic resources

What kind of reading skills do students need when they use electronic =
resources?

Skimming.  We always said we taught it, but now it is more necessary =
than ever, in order to glean enough to decide which of dozens of =
internet hits is of any use.

Critical reading.  What's the value of this interesting hit?

Screen smarts.  Where on the screen are the command keys defined?  So =
often, the bottom of the screen.  Saves much panic.  RATS, as they say!
