TARGET: Information Center

I am a media specialist at a K-12 international school in Venezuela and
find the information available from LM_NET extremely valuable. I would
appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience planning for an
"information center" which would combine resources such as a media center,
computer labs, video studio, etc. into one comprehensive center. Today we
were asked for input to give architects and a buildings committee so they
can add it to a longterm plan building plan. Our input is due to our
superintendent by Wednesday, April 9! Our technology committee has already
been working on ideas for improving our existing separate facilities, but
this is a wonderful opportunity for us to create an information center from
scratch. I will be meeting with the computer teachers on Monday so we can
brain storm together. I would especially appreciate ideas of what
definitely to include and what you have discovered did not work. Any
suggestions of books or articles etc. that would help later on would be
appreciated also. Please send your suggestions to me at my personal email
