I recently asked if it would still be worthwhile for me to acquire a laserdisc player for my near-to-retirement staff who are still bowled over by the technology of cassette tape recorders, VCRs, etc. The responses were overwhelming in the "ours is collecting dust" category! Some suggested that alot of the same stuff is or will be available on the preferred CD-Rom technology. Most felt that teachers will NOT take the time to figure out where on the disc the material they need is located. In all, it is expensive and underused technology. Thanks for all your responses.
