Need Web Whacker information

Is anyone using Web Whacker or a similar program?  I'm wondering how "real"
a captured session appears when using it for instruction.  If you prepare
ahead of time by capturing a few sites and many of the links that branch
off of them, can you play it back for others and demonstrate how the links
work?  Is it just like being on the Web?
