20th Century History Textbook

Comrades:
        Our SS department is instituting a new course next year entitled
"20th Century History."  It will focus on the US, but will be worldwide
in scope.  Do any of you know what might be available for a text for such
a course.  (Actually, I think it could be best taught without a text, but
using the library for all materials.  But, this is a traditional teacher
who won't go that route.)  TIA  Bruce
