Tech: Upgrading Netscape

Dear LM_Net friends:
I hope this is not too dumb of a question, but I haven't done this
before.  I need to upgrade my Netscape from version 1.something to
version 3.0.  My question is whether it will automatically save my
bookmarks and link in with my internet connection - i.e. transfer the
pertinent information from the old version, or whether I will have to
make those adjustments after loading the software.

Thank you for your help.  I am not anxious to find myself with no one
to turn to if I mess it up and can't get back on-line!
