Thanks so much to all those who took time to give me feedback concerning their schedules and thoughts on how to deal with the obvious "overload" of my schedule for next year where I am half time music teacher, half time media specialist-librarian, and am expected to teach four hours of computers apart from seeing all the 10 classes in our school of 250 three times a week (two music, one library) and have no aide. I am convinced that there are many of us out there that are definitely overworked and over scheduled. At least I don't feel alone....misery loves company?? At any rate, using your imput I have compiled a list of my responsibilities and am scheduled to present them to my new principal this Friday. I will let you know the outcome. My hope is just to unload maybe two of the four hours of computer teaching. When one begins to put down all the actual administrative responsibilities of the library it is amazing! It is time consuming! Now I have another question: How does one go about restoring books that have gotten wet and have dried with pages sticking to each other. My sister's family had some treasured family books that survived a flood and she wants so much to save them. I said I would ask a tremendous group of resource people I have just discovered. Any help will be appreciated!!
