I made buttons, with the Badge-A-Minute button maker set. I put the
barcode label and a cute sticker on bright colored paper, cover with the
plastic covers that come with the sets. I cut lots of extra circles at the
begionning of the year, so can make a button quick when a new student
arrives. Oh, I also bought a circle-cutting die from Ellison to make the
circles, easier and faster than the little tool that comes with the
Badge-a-minute set.
Students use the buttons as library passes, I instantly can be sure of
names, and rarely do I get the books checked out to the wrong student!
