Here is the promised hit on Public Library Automation. I received more requests forinfo than info. * DRA is library and librarian friendly. It delivers what it claims on time. it has good customer service. * Horizon is like Notis * Ameritech was very helpful on the phone and sent a great deal of info. * Sirsi has an OPAC thatis easy to use if you read the screens. They have no 800# and limited hrs. of customer service. Overall -- They are all about the same. Alll the co. have web sites and you can access there libraries that are on the WEB. On key is to have modules that are integrated. Group decision went to DRA because they ar5e on the cutting edge, have good reputation , and customer service, and integrated modules Now in my real job I have to investigate systems for a school library of 6000 vol. Hear good things about Winnebago E-mail me you feelings about sany systems good gor schools.
