Subject: TARGET-: Organizing Archival Records Dear LM_Net Friends and Colleagues: I would like to TARGET-> Organizing Archival Records to find ways other librarians are using systems of setting up these types of records. I am the library/media specialist for a Pre-K- 6 Private elementary school and we just had a closet company redo a space for our archives, which include everything from videos, newspaper clippings, books and magazine articles to large framed photos and small loose photos. The space is now set up to use verticle files (which I understand there is an organizational system used by many medical offices that allows one to organize many files so one may find records in a variety of ways.) If people will respond to me, I'll compile your responses and post A HIT-> on this topic to the entire LM_NET. Thanks for your advice and information.
