If Charlyn did not share this with everyone, I want to....We will have fun looking for the reminders of Texas, perhaps others will want to do so also. Mary Ludwick, MLS Ludwick@tenet.edu Librarian, B. B. Owen Elementary (grades K-5) A Blue Ribbon School The Colony, Tx. (about 30 miles north of Dallas, Texas) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 26 Aug 1997 21:43:09 -0400 (EDT) From: CharlynT@aol.com To: Ludwick@tenet.edu Subject: James Marshall And if you haven't heard enough about James Marshall, remind your students to look for the Texas flags, maps, and other symbols in his books. He attended parochial schools in San Antonio and included reminders of his home state in many of his books, especially the Miss Nelson series and even one or two of the fairy tales.
