A million things to count

Our fourth grade teachers want a million things to count.  They've thought
of soda can tabs, but they don't want to do that.  Do any of you know of
SOMETHINGS that they could collect and count?  They've really gotten
spoiled to turning
to me and saying, "Ask your friends on the Internet."  But, I guess that
is what we are here for.  Thanks from me and them for the great ideas that
I will be able to share with them in a few days.
