In my job at the public library I had a reference question today that stumped me and I hope someone out there can help. One of our colleagues in a local elementary is looking for videos? in the Book Bird(or maybe Bookbird?) series. I searched the Internet and found one reference in a text article out of the Middle East to the "famous international Book Bird Series". I also found references to the Bookbird magazine. Could this series have anything to do with the magazine? I'm not even sure what I am looking for and our children's librarian also had never heard of it. Is/Was it books that are now videos? Since I am not in a school I do not have access to the pile of catalogs awaiting most of you to even check. Any help would be appreciated so I know what I am looking for--books, videos, whatever. Thanks--I love this list and had been thinking of getting off since I have not had luck yet getting a school position but I find things that help, even in my public library(and it helps me feel so in touch with the profession while I seek a "real" job!).
