    Moorestown Friends School invites applications for the position of
Head Librarian.  The successful candidate will possess strong leadership
qualities and have demonstrated a high degree of initiative.  A Masters
in Library Science and experience are preferred.  Duties to be performed
include the following:
*    Support student research and encourage a love of literature.
*    Collaborate effectively with the faculty in the development of
library resources to        support the curriculum.
*    Establish an effective atmosphere in the library that promotes
academic pursuits.
*    Coordinate and develop the collection including integration of new
media and technology.
*    Manage the automation of the library.

    Moorestown Friends School, located in South Jersey near
Philadelphia, is a co-educational Quaker day school of 580 students from
preschool through grade twelve.  The school which is over 200 years old
has an outstanding faculty and a curriculum that stresses preparation
for college in an environment that supports Quaker values.
