Our 5th grade curriculum calls for a research project on Canadian
provinces. Last year was the first year for this project. We bought the
CD Canadian Encyclopedia, one set of books (I'm at home and can't remember
which series -- not Children's Press), found a few web sites, and
subscribed to Canadian Geographic for this school year. Now I want to add
more books and web resources. Is there an almanac which has Canadian
information similar to World Almanac? What would be your recommendations
for books or series on the provinces? We found some governmental
information on the Web, but not all we were looking for. Some students
wrote to their province and received information, but not all did. We
would appreciate pointers to books, web sites, etc. If there is interest,
I'll be glad to post a HIT.

Thanks so much,
