Attribution of 'proverb'

Hi LM_NETters -
Last night I spotted this 'proverb' posted in the background during a local
newscast:  "A closed mouth gathers no foot."  Does anyone know the
attribution for this? I thought it was worth sharing and would like to give
credit  (I've been following the copyright threads with interest)! TIA
