Janet Carmine, Library Media Specialist jcarmine@cris.com George Marks Elementary School, DeLand, Florida Hi everyone, What a wonderful world has been opened to us, when we can ask the most knowledgeable people questions and get quick, accurate answers. I love this. Got a question and just know someone out there could help me with it. The school in which I teach has a growing Hispanic population. When the teachers send notes to the parents, even the weekly newletters, they have to find a volunteer to translate the letters into Spanish. It is very awkward and time consuming. The kindergarten teachers came to me the other day and asked if I would try to find a computer program that would enable them to type in English and then translate it into Spanish. Is there such a program that would not be too costly and do the job? Help would be greatly appreciated.
