I am a new SLMS at a K-5 school that has just been automated. I would like to hear suggestions about teaching the automated catalog to elementary students (eg. sequence of skill instruction etc). Also, any suggestions for ice breakers for first visits to the LMC (especially 4th and 5th grades). If this message is a duplicate, sorry. Something didn't go right the first time.
