MID: TECH: email

I am a first timer with asking a question although I have been reading and
learning for over a year.  How do other schools handle students sending
email to  other countries?  Do individual teachers use their own accounts
or do students have accounts through a service like Hotmail?  We are
trying to decide what the best management system is with more than one
teacher doing email projects. I am most concerned with the changing of
mail account information in the Netscape options, providing email mail
accounts to students (getting parent permission),etc.  We had thought of
using the one school account, but wouldn't all the incoming mail go to the
computer that opens the account first? Any helpful advice you can give
would be appreciated, and I know you will come through!
