Dear Netters,
I have an English teacher who is looking for creative ideas
for a multicultural novel portfolio. The students are English
11 Honors level students. They have been asked to read a novel
written by a minority reflecting life in America, such as Wright's
Native Son, or Cisneros' House on Mango Street. She would like them
to have a portfolio of four or five written or artistic entries
such as a poem, or a letter to a character. This is not a
semester project. Do your teachers have any creative ideas
to share?
     Thanks for any help!
