Hope my fellow Tarheels can assist! A teacher called me today with a question about reading a Christmas story to her self-contained ECP class. This story apparently is about some of the animals at Christ's birth and there are Nativity scenes. She wanted to know if I thought it was okay to include. She doesn't want to wind up in any hot water. What would you tell her? Thanks for your input. I know how I'm treating the various holiday stories in the library, but I want to know if I'm on the right track based on all our curriculum. Diane Averett/Librarian Creedmoor Elementary 305 E.
