tech help: removing adhesive from CD

When I was putting my brand new TitleWave disk away a very sticky label
fell on it, of course sticky side down, on the underside of the CD.  You
know the part you don't want to have adhesive or scratches on. I peeled the
label off right away but there are little patches of adhesive left.  How do
I get it off without ruining the disk?  I just got it from Follett and was
having a wonderful time with it and it's so wonderful to be able to search
that huge catalog so quickly. I just hate to have to call my rep who handed
it to be Friday afternoon and tell him I ruined it within 24 hours and
could I please have another.
