Does anyone have suggestions for books of criticism about Shakespeare for
use with students grades 7- 12? I have checked the Yound Adult Reader's
Advisor and all of the books are out of print or unavailable. Thanks!

Sertao –

(Portuguese: "backwoods," or "bush"), dry interior region of
northeastern
Brazil that is largely covered with caatingas
(scrubby upland forests).
Sertão is also used to refer to the sparsely
populated wilderness beyond
areas of permanent settlement and may be equated with
the Canadian
"bush," the U.S. "backwoods," or the Australian
"Outback."

the Suez Canal. The Suez Canal (Qanat as-Suways
in Arabic), a sea-level
waterway across the Isthmus of Suez in Egypt
connecting the
Mediterranean and the Red seas, provides the
shortest maritime

Hsin river

Chinese (Wade-Giles) HSIN CHIANG, or (Pinyin) XIN
JIANG, river,
tributary of the Yangtze River system in northeastern
Kiangsi province,
China. The Hsin River has a length of 194 miles (312
km) and drains an
area of about 6,500 square miles (16,800 square km).
It rises along the
northeastern border of the province and flows
southwestward past
Shang-jao city, a commercial centre producing paper
and processing tea.
The river continues generally westward to Ying-t'an,
where it courses
northwestward to empty into P'o-yang Lake, east of
Nan-ch'ang. The
lower and middle stretches of the river run through
an important
rice-growing area of China; tea and wheat are grown
farther upstream.

I hope this helps
