BOOK: Wringer by Spinelli

I just finished reading it and since everyone has been commenting on it, I
thought I would too.
   I was very uncomfortable reading the first third.  Working in a middle
school I have seen so many kids sucked into friendship they didn't really
want or doing things they wouldn't have.  It rang some bells from my past
too.  The last two thirds uplifted the entire story.  Now that I finished
the book I agree with the people who say this is an excellent book.
Spinelli gets into this age child's mind - I guess that is why I felt so
uncomfortable with the beginning.  Be sure to purchase this book and read
it!
