Hi, Well, I am finally off and running. I bought some books and had kits made up for them from a card cataloging company. It was kind of expensive. I was happy with them, but I have alot more books to do myself and need to keep costs low. I think I finally landed on a software that will help me print cards and labels. My problem: I am sort of afraid of that Dewey Decimal system. I am afraid I will catalogue it under the wrong number. I tried to print off the net, something called "Cyber Dewey" which was a very long alphabetized list of subjects. I printed A through F or so, and then when I went back to do some more, I had to start printing from the beginning of the A's. (It wouldn't print just the sections I wanted...and the blue ink it uses will run out in no time.) Does anyone know of another list elsewhere or a reasonably inexpensive book on Dewey, with common subject headings alphabetized? We are a small library, and I don't plan on using digits beyond two places after the decimal. Thanks for your time.
