Holidays are for reading LM_NETERS: I have been reading Indian authors. Has anyone read The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy? I could not make head nor tails out of it. I struggled to the end and wondered why I wasted my time. Does anyone have an opinion on this book? This book won the Booker Prize this year. I was very disappointed. I have been reading Indian authors in preperation for a sabbatical to India in February 1999. If I get enought responses I will post the list to librarians-at-large. Thanks.
