This is the 21st Coville book and I think it is the most enjoyable. It is not new (1992) but I recently saw it sitting on a book store shelf. One of the characters name is Ishmael. When he is asked his name he says it is Ishmael, but don't call me that. Throughout the book when his name is mentioned people say - don't call him that. This is a fun story build along high fantasy's classic lines. The "note from the author" at the end explains why it is so good. He has lived with the story for a while and just recently decided to get it published. Be sure to get this one for your fantasy and/or Coville lovers. By the way - does anyone know if he is going to write a sequal to the Dragonslayers?
