An FYI...
        The fundamental flaw with mandated "standards" in public education
is inadvertently revealed in a collaborative article entitled, "The Best
and Worst of the Net,'97," in the January, 1998, issue of INTERNET WORLD:
        "... people who care about learning don't know what they will need
to learn tomorrow.  You can't place an advance order for knowledge."  (pg.
59)
