Kindergarten & 1st grade ideas..

Hi,
First year elementary librarian here.  I am having a great time.   The
teachers I work with are pleased because I make a serious effort to
teach skills along with an appreciation for literature.  I also have a
strong background in Fine Art and I usually make an illustration
appropriate to the reading.  My weakness is in the lower grades.  I was
hoping to get some ideas for lessons and reading material for
kindergarten and 1st grade.
