TECH: Composing Offline in Wordperfect

I wrote that HIT regarding typing programs in WordPerfect, saved it as an
ASCII file and, in Netscape, made it an Attachment to my message, because
I couldn't see any other way of importing an ASCII text file into the
message window. The result was all that gobbledygook about MIME and all
the other nonsense. Is there a way to import an ASCII text file created
in a word processing program into a message window in Netscape without
all that stuff?
