GEN: Write to Disney re: American Teacher Awards

LM_Net Colleagues,
I just read an article in our State Education Association's journal re: the
American Teacher Awards.  Entries are accepted in 12 categories: ATHLETIC
COACH, Early Childhood, English, Foreign Language/ESL, General Elementary,
Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Health, Science, Social
Studies, Visual Arts, & Vocational/Technical Education.  Yep, it seems almost
everyone except US!
An address was given to send for an application.  I suggest we ask for the
application for School Media Specialist (or whatever) and/or ask for this
category to be added to next year's awards.  I'm sure with our numbers we can
get their attention (I received a response from TBS when I e-mailed them
about the Armpit of a Librarian spot)
