Hyper Studio

We are in the process of purchasing a district license for
HyperStudio.  One of our teachers took a Hyperstudio class
last summer.  He says they used HyperStudio 3.0 on both Mac
and IBM compatible computers.  The people at
Educational Resources say that only the 1.0 version works on
IBM Windows computers.  We have a single copy of 1.0.  The
teacher says 3.0 is much superior.  Educational Resources
did tell me that an update for 1.0 is to be released soon.
Has anyone out there had experience using 3.0 on IBM comptible
computers with Windows?
