My name is Diane Chin and I am a teacher-librarian sitting on a board-level advisory committee to decide on parental control software for the Internet in both elementary and secondary schools. We need to establish a standard for both networked and stand-alone situations and for Macs as well as PC's even for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 systems. I read with interest the discussion around Cyberpatrol which I had happily already rejected, although I did not think that it was as bad as some of you had indicated. I had only the test version which I had downloaded from the net. Cybersitter appears to be better from my test and is in fact the program that I am recommending. Has anyone had any experience with this program? Also if you have had experience with another that is better please let me know.
