I absolutely agree with this sentiment... I do not promote any
form of censorship- but encourage discussion of appropriate materials
for different audiences.  Further more, I believe that it is through
censoring
that we give things power or mystique. No book sells better than one
that has been banned. In this age of information, our students need to
be
taught the skills to evaluate materials of all sorts.

Finally, I personally do not feel qualified to decide what may or not be
offensive for my patrons, but work to the best of my ability to provide
a variety of sources for my students and faculty.
