Middle: J FIC World War II

Everybody did such a good job with suggestions for a novel on the Vietnam
War, that I have another request from the same teacher.  She will be doing
a unit on War World II in the spring and wants the class to read a novel
that ties in.  "Number the Stars" and Ann Frank have already been done.
This is for a 7/8th grade class.  Any suggestions would be appreciated, and
I will post the results.

Also, is there a source for recommended reads by subject, either in print
or on the web?
