Dear Colleagues: A former high school student of mine stationed in Bosnia is in charge of the mail for U.S. troops there. She has made a plea for letters for soldiers who never receive mail. She says that the conditions for troops there are very primitive, and that many soldiers never receive *any* mail. Please ask the teachers at your school to pass the word on to their students. They would bring a lot of happiness to those young people far from home. Bev Rovelli's idea of sending valentines is an excellent one! Let's swamp them with thousands of letters and show them the real power of the net! Here's the address: Any Soldier C Co. 101st MI Bn Operation Joint Endeavor APO, AE 09789 If you wish, you could send a packet of letters to her to pass on to the soldiers. Just add "Care of Michelle Howze." Mike Genga Paradise High School Paradise, CA 95969 mgenga@earthlink.net
