Cheryl and all,
Hotmail may not be responsible for the spam. It's possible to
'spoof' an address to hide the real sender. Also, any free email
system will atract people who get to send one mass mailing before
they are thrown off. With enough complaints, Hotmail (and others) may
figure out how to deal with the problem before it happens. To
contact any domain, just send email to the postmaster@xxxx.yyy .
Most of the big networks and ISPs also use an 'abuse@' address to
report spamming.

When you send in your complaint, it's a good idea to include a copy
of the offending message with the complete headers. That way, the
people at the domain can confirm whether or not their system is
really involved.

Also, take a look at the FAQ that just came out. It has quite a few
links for dealing with spam. It doesn't matter whether it's porn or
'make money fast' it's still unwanted and unsolicited email.
