Word Processing Translators

Lately I have received several attachments as Word documents.  I am using a
Macintosh with ClarisWorks 4.0 and the latest Word translator is version
4-5.  I am not able to open these documents in SimpleText, America Online,
or ClarisWorks because I don't have the translators.  I spoke with Dataflex
about ordering Word for my Mac and the representative there said that
sometimes that didn't work either.

I heard about a new version of ClarisWorks that does have the translators
(it can be downloaded) but I'm not sure about it.  Can anyone offer any
advice?  It is embarrasing to ask the senders to resent the document in
text or regular mail.
